Physical Appearance: A lanky sort of boy growing up, Zakariah Adama finally grew into himself and now stands about five foot eleven, close to six foot. He's a little leaner than his brother, Lee, but..like the other Adama men.. had a strong jaw as a predominant feature, as well as piercing eyes. However, while his older brother had bright blue eyes, Zak's eyes were a warm chocolate brown. Another difference between the youngest and his brother and father was the smile that was generally there on his features. It lessened the seriousness and severity of it all.
Education: A fine school on Caprica and then the Colonial Academy
Occupation: Ensign in the Colonial Fleet
Significant Other: At the time of his death, he was engaged to Kara Thrace

Character Biography:
History: Zakariah Samuel was born the second son of celebrated military man William Adama and his wife, Caroline. He had an older brother, Leland, whom he admired and tried to emulate. He also tried to emulate his father. That led to the youngest Adama boy to follow in the others' footsteps and run straight into flight academy as soon as he could. Unfortunately, in his quest for his father's respect..or even just his attention..he neglected to understand the fact that some people just really shouldn't fly. Especially if they didn't love it. And Zak didn't love it. It was the expectation that he should join up that made him enlist. William Adama's sons were flyboys through and through. That was how it had to be. Even if it wasn't what should have been.

But by the gods, he tried his hardest in Colonial Academy. Being an Adama meant that they had a lot to live up to. Being the youngest meant that Zak had a lot to live up to, what with his father's legacy and his brother's shining star having already gone through. So he struggled sometimes, but managed to continue to scoot on by. During his time in flight school, he fell for his flight instructor, Kara Thrace. She was wild, and beautiful, and brilliant. And they were crazy about each other. Kara knew how much making it through the Academy meant to Zak. It meant that he was that much of a step closer to his father, just that much more in his father's radar. It meant that he was an Adama. So she helped Zak along. Zak passed because of Kara, even though he never knew.

So Zak, like his brother and father, graduated the Academy. On his first solo flight, Zakaria Adama crashed his Viper plane and died in the wreckage.
